At Blackadon, our South Devon self catering holiday cottages provide an excellent location for spectacular & varied Devon holidays. Our background in catering, outdoor education, walking holidays, teaching & business have provided many of the skills needed to run a successful family business.

Jacky & Mark have a keen interest in the protecting the environment so we try to operate in an environmentally friendly way as recognised by our award of Dartmoor First from the Dartmoor National Park. Keeping energy consumption to a low level & recycling where possible.

Living at Blackadon Farm for 14 years has been a fantastic learning experience - “The Good Life” has been the driving force behind our current life style with animals and attempts at growing our own food - goats & chickens permitting! The first photographs we have of Blackadon show just how the cottages have developed from the shells we first saw to the holiday cottages we offer you today.

Jacky & Mark have spent many holidays in self-catering holiday cottages in Devon, England and abroad.

We now believe we know the elements that can provide you with excellent holiday accommodation; Devon is great for summer holidays or short breaks.
